Delete your account

Your account is yours to close, whenever you want, without asking anyone. There is no waiting period and nothing to talk you out of it.

If you still have the app

Open Date and go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Confirm. That is it: it happens straight away.

If you have already uninstalled it

Email hello@meetondate.app from the address you signed up with, and ask us to delete your account. Sending it from that address is how we know it is you. We will not ask you for your password, and you should never send it.

We reply within 7 days and delete within 30, usually the same day.

What gets deleted

Deleted immediately	Kept, and why
Your profile, name, birthday and every answer on it. All your photos and the files behind them. Every conversation, message, voice note and photo you sent. Your likes, passes and matches. Your date plans. Your ratings, given and received. Your notification address. Your sign-in.	Reports made about you, and the first names on them. If deleting an account erased its safety record, anyone reported for abuse could clear it by leaving and signing up again. Your profile is gone from these; the record of the report is not, until it is deleted one year after it was made.

Deletion is permanent. There is no restore, and signing up again with the same email starts a completely new, empty account.

You can also ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct something, or object to how we use it. Same address: hello@meetondate.app. More detail in the privacy policy.
